The
Yoseikan Karate Dojo's curriculum is nationally approved by the
Koshin-ha Chito-ryu Karate Federation and the United States Koseido
Jiu-Jitsu Hombu (headquarters). Classes run 2 hours and consist
of stretching; warm-up exercises; basic punching, kicking and stance
drills; non-contact sparring; and the practice of kata (forms) and
bunkai (the forms self-defense applications). In addition, students
are instructed in the joint locks, chokes, break falls, and ground
fighting techniques of Koseido-ryu Jiu-Jitsu. Classes are open to
students ages 13 and older. A basic level of physical fitness is
required in order to keep up with the pace of the class.

Membership Fees
Memberships are offered in six month increments. A free gi (uniform)
will be included for all members.

Members of the Allegheny Athletic Club receive their first two months
at $30/month.
A once
a year fee of $25 is required for membership in the National Koshin-ha
Chito-kai Karate Federation. This membership allows unlimited access
to our South Hills Dojo and entrance to national and local seminars,
clinics, and special training events.
